Since I retired (and even before that, actually), I've become a little more cautious about riding. For years I've ridden Raznik - a 14-1 hand Mustang/Arab cross, or Zhelah (La La) Raznik's Mustang/Arab cross half-sister, also 14-1 hands. I felt very safe and comfortable on them, but alas, both of them are at retirement age. As I looked for a new steed, I was interested in downsizing, believe it or not!
I did lots of looking, but finally found Kendra - who is about 13 - 3 hands and is a mix of Clydesdale, Quarter pony, Dales pony and Gypsy Vanner. She's been at Autumn Howland's farm for about a month, where Autumn has been working with her, as she had almost no experience under saddle. Kendra is proving to be the pony I was looking for - quiet, sweet and steady. I'm very eager to get her home and begin to apply the many techniques for training and riding that I've been studying during these cold winter months!

So wonderful! I am so happy for you, and very eager to see how the two of you progress together! Congratulations!
