In an earlier post, I talked about the benefits of online dressage shows, and included the name of the organization that we work through: Dressage Show Online. The company's show organizer suggested that we host a private show, which we agreed to do, with the understanding that the numbers would be very small. Show management assured me that would not be an issue.
As it turned out, the show consisted primarily of family members, with the exception of the neighbor's daughter, who entered a lead line class. Although the past month has been a flurry of activity...riding, lessons, scheduling taping sessions with family members etc, it was ultimately well worth the effort! We had twelve rides. We had a lot of fun, got inspired to get down to business, and got some valuable feedback from the judge. Looking forward to more shows this summer, but do not plan to host another show until next year at the soonest.

Thank you so much for hosting the show! It was fun to prepare and practice, film and post together!
